Network Connectivity
Our Virtual Servers are connected to the Internet via the fastest, most
reliable, and most extensive networks in the world. The new Vienna,
Virginia Data Center, that houses the servers purchased on or after November 22, 1999, is located in the same building as MAE East, one of
the world's premier public peering points. The Orem, Utah Data Center has
Sprint DS3 connectivity, for additional redundancy.

The Verio National Network
The high performance
Verio National Network
is fast, reliable and scalable. It combines key components that are
critical to the operation of a state-of-the-art Internet service:
- A high capacity national backbone
- A 24-hour Network Operations Center (NOC)
- Superior engineering support services
|
The National Network links Verio's local points of presence to each other
and to the key national exchange points - MAE West, MAE East, NY NAP and
the Digital Internet Exchange, located in Palo Alto, California. The
network features OC12, OC3, and DS3 links, as well as Cisco 12000 series
gigabit switch router technology, which connect the national exchange
points and Verio access points. Verio's regional networks and carrier
class POP facilities connect to one of the access points located in
metropolitan areas throughout the United States. Network capacity has been
increased to OC12 and OC3 capabilities and additional access points are
being added as Verio expands its service area.
The Verio National Network
